A Story


Once upon a time,
There lived a farmer in a village.

One day he found an eaglet laying in the field. It was so young that it could not fly or even move.

The farmer took it home and put it with the mother hen and the chicks which he was fostering in his home. The little eagle mingled with the chicks and it began to grow with them.

It used go to the fields and scratch the rubbish and hide beneath the wings of the mother hen when it scared, just like other chicks. After a few months It grown to an eagle with all its power and size, but it used to behave just like chickens.

Once a scientist noticed the eagle walking with chickens, he understands what is the reason. He came to it and tried to make it understand what really it is. He told it that “Oh Eagle, you are not a mere chick but you are an eagle, the King of Birds. You can fly in the vast sky. It replied that I cannot understand what you are saying. I am only what I am now. What is meant by flying? How can I do it. I do not know how to fly.

The scientist took it to a river side and showed it its figure reflected in the water and tried to realize it that its very figure itself is not the same as chickens. And he spread its wings and it was very long and wide. He showed it other birds flying in the sky and prompted it to fly so. At first the eagle hesitated but when he encouraged it saying that it is a wonderful thing to fly in the sky and to see the beautiful world from the sky, It seems to be very nice to the Eagle.

The scientist took the bird to a near by hill and forced to fly by throwing it in to the sky. Then the Eagle tried to fly. At first it fell down after flying a little but it could fly higher and faster after some time. Then it flew some more higher and more and more higher and it flew away up to the top most of the sky. Any disability of its wings or any part of the body?
If No, Then ?

Either The Eagle or its colleagues where not aware of Its Capabilities.

Why didn’t the farmer tried to make it fly?
He may think that he has no need of spending time for it.
He may not cared about such matters
He don’t know what are capabilities of an eagle and how to practice it.
Yes, Any way, It was because of the problem of caretaker; But surely not because of the inability of the eagle.

Question 4
Why did the Scientist tried to make it fly?
Was it because of his sympathy to the eagle?
He was aware of the nature and Capabilities of an Eagle.
He knows how to motivate and bring out its potential to its maximum.
Over all he was not ready to write-off any one.

Question 5
What really made the Eagle to fly to the heights of the sky?
Was it because the sky was closed before.
Was it because it have got new wings?
If no? Then?

It was because it realized its capabilities with the help of the Scientist .

What was the circumstance which made the bird realize its capabilities?

It was because it reached in perfect hands.

There is no need of further explanations. We must have to think where to send our children for their better future, because………`
